Redfish in South Florida

RedfishOne of the most beautiful sights to see is a tailing redfish. Our shallow water lagoons and back bays of Southwest Florida provide the perfect habitat for redfish to feed.

Redfish are distinctly identified by the spot on their tail. These fish are also commonly called Red Drum, because of the loud beating sound they can make. This drum is part of their defense system and wards off preditors.
