Flats fishing on shallow water poling skiffFly fishing in Southwest Florida opens up many opportunties for the beginning and seasoned angler. Whether you are in pursuit of giant tarpon on fly or prefer the skinny backwater bays of the Florida Everglades where snook, redfish, ladyfish and sheepshead are plentiful - we've got the fishing trip for you.

Capt. Kyle Giampaoli is a seasoned fly fishing guide. Splitting his time between the famous rivers of south west Montana fishing for trout and fishing the winter season out of Marco Island, FL, he's made fly fishing his profession.

Tarpon - The Silver King

Tarpon - the Silver KingYou have not lived until you've witnessed the gill-rattling fury of a jumping tarpon.

In the Spring, tarpon make their way through the Florida Keys and up the coasts of Florida. They can be found cruising the deeper flats and channels through Marco Island, Chokoloskee and the Florida Everglades.

Many baby tarpon find their homes in tucked away places below the many mangrove islands of the Ten Thousand Islands.

We offer tarpon fishing trips throughout the spring. Night fishing for tarpon is also available and can be a lot of fun too.

Snook Fishing around Naples & Marco Island

Snook fishing Naples, Marco Island, Ten Thousland IslandsSnook can be found along the beaches of Naples and Marco Island and are plentiful wherever there is strong current. Snook often congregate under docks, piers and bridges. These fish are so much fun to fish for during the day and at night.

In addition Snook can be found taking refuge under mangrove roots. This gives them an easy escape route from predators.

Fly Fishing for Redfish in Southwest Florida

Capt. Kyle lands a large redfish in the back waters of Marco Island, FLOne of the most beautiful sights to see is a tailing redfish. Our shallow water lagoons and back bays of Southwest Florida provide the perfect habitat for redfish to feed.

Redfish are distinctly identified by the spot on their tail. These fish are also commonly called Red Drum, because of the loud beating sound they can make. This drum is part of their defense system and wards off preditors.
